Read Chapter 15, Making Decisions about Computers, Information and Society about working with analogies and constructing ethical arguments. This chapter is available in electronic form through the library's Electronic Reserves facility. Remember if a password is needed, use "mgej" (no quotes).
You will then in ONE pages (max):
- Propose the best analogy you can discover to the downloading of copyright protected MP3 music files.
- Analyze your analogy in terms of the strengths (similarities), weaknesses (differences), and applicability to downloading music files.
- Analyze the ethical significance of the similarities and differences.
- Present and defend a conclusion, based on your analogy and its analysis, regarding whether one should or should not engage in downloading copyright protected MP3 music files.
