Hey Zomb, you might try this side of the country -
we got high home prices too, plus 80 mph
windstorms, snow, rain, only slightly less left wing
politically and just as silly, traffic that you'll be right
at home with, people that think an 60-year old
house belongs on the historic register, but...
When the sun is shining the place is glorious (they
don't call it the Emerald City for nothing), more
great wines and wineries than you can find
anywhere in the country outside Napa California,
and more great beer than anywhere else period.
Recreation of every sort imaginable, and a lot of
places to point the scooter at and ride to.
Sun rises out of the mountains and sets in the sea
(when you can see the sun, the mountains and the
sea).
The Salt Mine pays fair for the work, and the work
is steady.. your RF background would be
welcomed. If you get desperate..
